PHOTOS: Joe Bugel And 'The Hogs'
Former Washington Redskins Coach Joe Bugel passed away Sunday at the age of 80. Coaching under Hall of Fame Head Coach Joe Gibbs from 1981-89, Bugel was the architect of the dominating "Hogs" offensive line that included stalwarts Russ Grimm, Joe Jacoby, Mark May, Jeff Bostic and George Starke.

March is Women's History month and what better way for WOW to kick it off then DC's #HerStory 5k. About 70 members of WOW took part in this race on Saturday March 7, 2020. A cold morning did not sway these women from showing up at Freedom Plaza in downtown DC and walking/running together! Local NBC Sports Washington anchor and reporter Julie Donaldson joined us along with Raunda Williams, wife of Doug Williams, and their 2 daughters. Pride, purpose and joy could be felt by all. Five Redskins Read schools were invited to Redskins Park to celebrate Dr. Seuss's birthday.The schools rotated through five different stations – each station was themed around a different Dr. Seuss story. The stations included a variety of activities, including relays, obstacle courses and crafts.

The Washington Redskins Charitable Foundation partnered with the Embassy of Qatar and D.C. United to hold the Qatar National Day of Sport event at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center. Over 500 elementary school students from DC Public Schools participated in the event which featured physical activity stations and a tour of the National Children's Museum.
PHOTOS: Redskins Host 2020 Winter ASPIRE Summit
The ASPIRE initiative, created for 7th grade girls, focused on inspiring, educating and building confidence in young women from Loudoun County and Fairfax County Public Schools. All participating students were selected by school counselors and career specialists based on need and readiness.
The winter summit allowed students to hear from a panel of influential women in the sports industry coming from a variety of career paths and backgrounds. The students will then go more in-depth on topics in specialized breakouts around social entrepreneurship and creating a healthier version of themselves. Students will enjoyed lunch in the team dining facility before dividing into two breakout sessions to continue the summit.

The Washington Redskins Charitable Foundation hosted 200 elementary students, who also received Papa John's pizza lunch served by the players and cheerleaders. After lunch, students were divided into small groups where they rotated through four fun, holiday activity stations.

As the Official Salute To Service Partner Of The Washington Redskins, the United Services Automobile Association (USAA) aims to engage local military with exclusive experiences, educate the Redskins on aspects of military life and encourage acts of military appreciation. On Nov. 12, USAA accomplished all three objectives with a unit interaction between four Redskins players and military members at Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall in Arlington, Virginia.

This year's Harvest Feast is be the 17th annual pre-Thanksgiving food distribution event for Prince George's County residents in need. This event is made possible through the generosity of our partners and sponsors, specifically, Ryan Homes, Safeway, Bank of America, Capital Area Food Bank, PepsiCo, FedEx, Prince George's County Department Social Services and the Redskins Charitable Foundation. On Monday, 200 volunteers assisted in assembling 7,500 bags of dry goods, perishables and beverages that were distributed to families the following day, Tuesday, November 12.

The Washington Redskins Charitable Foundation orchestrated three projects simultaneously throughout the DMV area on Saturday, October 19, as a part of the Redskins Huddle for 100, a league-wide initiative that encourages fans to volunteer for 100 minutes in honor of the NFL's 100th season.
