The Washington Commanders and Bank of America joined forces with Habitat for Humanity Metro Maryland for a volunteer build day to support affordable housing and community projects in the local area. On Wednesday, April 17th, volunteers from the Washington Commanders and Bank of America rolled up their sleeves and donned their hard hats as they joined Habitat for Humanity to help with volunteer projects such as Allium Place, a new affordable housing community, and neighborhood engagement projects at Montgomery County Public Schools. This collaboration marks a significant milestone in the Commanders' and Bank of America's ongoing commitments to making a positive impact in the local community.

To celebrate Women's History Month, the Women of Washington hosted a panelist event at DC Prime on Saturday, March 16th. The event was hosted by Commanders in-game host, GeNienne Samuels, with a panel of four women making a profound impact within the sports industry. Our panelist included: Sally Nnamani, Lois Cook, Lis Driscoll and Chanelle Reynolds. All proceeds of this special event were donated to the Washington Commanders Charitable Foundation.

From holiday givebacks and hospital visits to football clinics and a fashion show, the Commanders spent the season spreading cheer and making a difference in the DMV community.

On December 18, Commanders offensive tackle Cornelius Lucas, through his foundation CL3 Foundation, hosted 20 children from Prince George's County for a holiday shopping spree at Target in Upper Marlboro. Additionally, Easterns Automotive Group, matched Cornelius' donation to help spread holiday cheer to the children in attendance.

On January 5, offensive lineman Charles Leno Jr. hosted a Commanders Reads event for 200 students from Leesburg Elementary School where he read books to the kids, took photos, signed autographs and gifted them goodie bags. For the event, Leno was named the NFLPA's Community MVP of the week, marking the fourth year in a row that he has received this honor.

Rookies KJ Henry and Mason Brooks took a visit to Children's National Hospital to help spread some holiday cheer.

In partnership with Northwest Federal Credit Union, the wide receiver hosted a day full of STEM fun at the lab in Fairfax, VA. Approximately 70 students participated in science experiments, got to hang out with McLaurin and received Commanders giveaways.

James Smith Williams and Terrell Burgess supported the 4th Annual DC Coalition Against Domestic Violence Holiday Toy & Gift drive by hosting an in-person shopping event at Child's Play Toy Store in Washington, D.C. for children who have been impacted by domestic violence in the DMV area. Through the partnership with Set the Expectation, they exceeded the fundraising goal of being able to purchase +1000 toys and gifts for those children!
