Redskins Read Across America Day
The Washington Redskins Charitable Foundation invited selected Redskins Read schools to Redskins Park to celebrate Dr. Seuss's birthday on Friday, March 1.

The Washington Redskins Charitable Foundation hosted 200 elementary students, who also received Papa John's pizza lunch served by the players and cheerleaders. After lunch, students were divided into small groups where they rotated through four fun, holiday activity stations.

This year's Harvest Feast is be the 17th annual pre-Thanksgiving food distribution event for Prince George's County residents in need. This event is made possible through the generosity of our partners and sponsors, specifically, Ryan Homes, Safeway, Bank of America, Capital Area Food Bank, PepsiCo, FedEx, Prince George's County Department Social Services and the Redskins Charitable Foundation. On Monday, 200 volunteers assisted in assembling 7,500 bags of dry goods, perishables and beverages that were distributed to families the following day, Tuesday, November 12.

The Washington Redskins Charitable Foundation orchestrated three projects simultaneously throughout the DMV area on Saturday, October 19, as a part of the Redskins Huddle for 100, a league-wide initiative that encourages fans to volunteer for 100 minutes in honor of the NFL's 100th season.

The Washington Redskins Charitable Foundation and Gatorade teamed up to host the second Gatorade Junior Training Camp of 2019 at Redskins Park. 130 Loudoun County middle school students participated in an afternoon of football fundamentals and skill development.

The Redskins Runway Show brought together Redskins players, alumni and fans for an evening of fun and fashion to support the Redskins Charitable Foundation – 10% of purchases made at Bloomingdale's that night will support the Redskins Charitable Foundation's youth programs across the region. The evening's runway models consisted of 50+ Redskins players, alumni, and their wives.

The 4th & Life High School Football Forum focuses on preparing high school student-athletes for life after football. Redskins players in attendance participated in a panel discussion which touched on a variety of topics, such as coping with peer pressure, staying healthy and planning for their academic and athletic futures. The panel, emceed by NFL alumnus James Thrash, provided high school athletes with the unique opportunity to engage in a wide-ranging dialogue with Redskins players.
