Yellow Ribbons United (YRU), in partnership with the Washington Redskins Charitable Foundation, hosted it’s second annual United in Play on Saturday. Children from both military and civilian families participated in a fun filled day of physical activities at Redskins Park.

Approximately 90 elementary and middle school students participated in a morning of nutrition education and physical activity stations.

The Washington Redskins Charitable Foundation hosted its fourth High School Coaches Clinic on Wednesday. Unlike in past years, student athletes joined about 50 coaches at the Inova Sports Performance Center at Redskins Park on Wednesday to hear from members of the Redskins' staff, learn about player safety and test their physical abilities against local peers.
PHOTOS: Redskins Host 2019 Spring ASPIRE Summit
The ASPIRE initiative, created for 7th grade girls, focuses on inspiring, educating and building confidence in young women from Loudoun County and Fairfax County Public Schools. The spring summit allows returning students to hear from influential women from a variety of career paths and backgrounds, and will focus on social entrepreneurship and channeling your passion into something greater. Students will enjoy lunch in the team dining facility before dividing into two breakout sessions to continue the summit, and then will come together in the indoor practice facility to participate in a team building fitness exercise.

The Washington Redskins Charitable Foundation invited selected Redskins Read schools to Redskins Park to celebrate Dr. Seuss’s birthday on Friday, March 1.

The Washington Redskins Charitable Foundation and American Dairy Association Northeast teamed up to host a Fuel Up to Play 60 workshop at Excel Academy.
Redskins Host 2018 Skins Santa Shoppe
The Washington Redskins Charitable Foundation hosted 200 elementary students, who also received lunch served by the players and cheerleaders. After lunch, students were divided into small groups where they rotated through four fun, holiday activity stations.

PHOTOS: 16th Annual Redskins Harvest Feast Presented By Ryan Homes
This year’s Harvest Feast was the 16th annual pre-Thanksgiving food distribution event for Prince George’s County residents in need. The event was made possible through the generosity of our partners and sponsors, specifically, Ryan Homes, Shoppers Food and Pharmacy, Bank of America, Capital Area Food Bank, PepsiCo, Prince George’s County Social Services and the Redskins Charitable Foundation. On Tuesday, November 13th, volunteers assisted in distributing 7,500 bags of dry goods, perishables and beverages to families.
