LOUDOUN COUNTY, Va. – The Washington Redskins and the Washington Redskins Charitable Foundation will host a Fantennial Weekend in honor of the National Football League's 100th season. Fantennial Weekend, which coincides with the Redskins Alumni Homecoming Weekend, will bring together current and former players with fans in the greater D.C. metro area for three days of football, community service, entertainment and giveaways.

The celebratory weekend kicks off on Friday, Oct. 18 with the Washington Redskins Charitable Foundation taking part in a Prince George's County Homecoming high school football match-up with the Oxon Hill Clippers facing off against the Northwestern Wildcats. Redskins alumni Josh Morgan and Santana Moss will join both teams on the sidelines for the singing of the national anthem and to deliver pre-game speeches, as well as participate in the coin toss as honorary captains. The game will also feature other Redskins Homecoming themed elements and each fan in attendance will receive a Redskins branded giveaway item.

On Saturday, Oct. 19 the Fantennial Weekend celebration continues with the Washington Redskins hosting an Alumni Fan Day at The National Harbor from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. EST. The event is free and open to the public and will feature main stage entertainment including the Washington Redskins Cheerleaders, as well as marching bands and acts from local DMV performers. Fans will have the opportunity to enjoy the Alumni Fan Day and the festivities on-site alongside former Redskins greats.

The Fantennial Weekend will run through the final whistle of the Redskins' Alumni Homecoming game at FedExField on Sunday, Oct. 20 against the San Francisco 49ers. A who's who of Redskins alumni will gather on the field pre-game to be recognized for their contributions to the Redskins organization over the years. Among them will be Hall of Famer Sonny Jurgensen, who will be recognized for his over 54 years of dedication to the Washington Redskins organization, as well as Redskins legend Chris Samuels, who at halftime will be inducted into the Ring of Fame.

As part of Fantennial Weekend, the Redskins will be offering an Experience of a Lifetime Sweepstakes presented by Papa John's. Fans will have the chance to win a prize package that includes a 10-person suite for the Fan Appreciation Game against the Detroit Lions on November 24, tunnel passes for the winner and one guest, a behind-the-scenes tour of FedExField on a non-gameday for up to 20 guests, a post-game photo op on the field, a $500 credit for the Redskins team store and one year of free pizza from Papa John's.
