On Sunday, October 20th, the Redskins joined USAA in honoring two representatives from the United States Air Force. In the first break of the first quarter of the fourth home game of the season, Master Sergeant Tommie Zanders and Airman First Class Benjamin Parma were seen standing on the field waving to the crowd in a moment presented by USAA designated to honoring men and women in our region fighting for our freedom and safety.
An appraised in-game moment that occurs each home game, the USAA Salute to Service Moment is widely known as the cornerstone in-game production at FedExField. The two were featured on the Redskins HD scoreboard waving from the field as the Redskins crowd took a moment to give them a standing ovation in appreciation for their sacrifice and service to our nation. A special moment honoring our service members in the military.
