Last month, the Commanders completed their Touching Base Tour, presented by Black Rifle Coffee Company. Over a 17-day period, they visited 6 DMV bases where The USO provided lunch for service members and their families, Major Tuddy and Command Force made appearances, and Commanders alumni signed autographs for nearly 2,500 guests! Giveaways featured a t-shirt, commissary gift cards, and promotional items from Black Rifle Coffee Company. Stops included Joint Base Myer/Henderson Hall, Marine Corps Base Quantico, Naval Support Activity Bethesda, Fort Belvoir, Marine Barracks Washington, and Joint Base Andrews.

The Week 9 game against the Minnesota Vikings featured several tributes to veterans and the military as a whole.

As the first Salute lead under the new brand identity, Bailey is both well-equipped and uniquely passionate about leading the franchise's efforts to honor, empower and connect the military community in the DMV. 

Organized by the Commanders Charitable Foundation to kick off Salute to Service month, the hospital visit provided a chance for Commanders players to engage with staff and patients at one of the country's most esteemed military hospitals.

Over the past year, The Washington Commanders Charitable Foundation assisted 179,000 children and families in the region, reached 60+ area school districts, and hosted more than 50 events that support underserved communities across the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia.

The celebration featured the bestowing of two $10,000 scholarships, presented by Easterns Automotive Group, to two standout cadets. The night underscored the importance of one of the ROTC's most esteemed values: comradery.

On Nov. 13, the Washington Football Team and USAA invited five TAPS families for a special practice viewing at Inova Sports and Performance Center in Ashburn, Virginia.
