Redskins Alum, Super Bowl Champion and current George Mason Director of Athletics Brad Edwards was on hand to open up the evening with some of his own experiences while playing for Washington and with his sister being involved with athletics throughout her life.

Jennifer Montgomery, Director of Athletic Development at George Mason was especially excited to have the event hosted at the school, “It’s great to have professional and collegiate athletics come together it doesn’t happen very often but to have young women hear about experiences in both the professional and collegiate athletics is great. “

Along with the panel discussion, guests were able to network with the panelists and each other while enjoying Papa John’s pizza and Coca-Cola beverages. Each guest received a WOW notebook along with the opportunity to be involved in a raffle at the end of the evening.
