Jordyn's Blog from WRC's 56th Military Appreciation Tour

WRC Tour 56 has definitely been one to remember. I've truly enjoyed bonding with my teammates and our alumni! My cheeks hurt from the non stop smiles this week has brought me.

After our time in Kosovo we flew to Naples, Italy. We hit the ground running and went to visit the Wildcats Cheerleaders from the Naples American High School on base. These kids were so kind and talented. We taught them a few of our snippet moves and helped them clean their halftime routine. Working with them has been my favorite part of this trip! After this we enjoyed a spaghetti dinner at the Country House, where I got to eat across from Natalie Stovall and her band who were also on a Military Appreciation Tour.

Day two felt very rewarding. We drove to Carney Park, a park inside a volcano (how cool, right?!). We taught the cheerleaders a full halftime routine and were so impressed at how quickly they picked up our choreography. Performing with them during their halftime was so much fun. After this we did some meet and greets where we met the sweetest Redskins fans in all of Italy! We ended the night with a performance to my favorite song, "Man I Feel Like Woman" on stage with Natalie Stovall and her band for the military families.

Day Three was filled with adventure. We had a scenic lunch at Tramonto D'Oro on the Amalfi Coast. The view was incredibly beautiful! We also got to take a dip in the Mediterranean! We did a lot of shopping for our teammates back at home and finished the day with some real Italian pizza! Yum!

I can't get over how beautiful Italy is and how great the people are! This has been an experience I will never forget! Thank you Armed Forces Entertainment!
