Every day of training camp, The Redskins Blog will feature a devoted Redskins fan and tell their story.

The rain in Richmond, Va., could not stop active duty Army servicewoman LaJuya Hackley and her family from attending Redskins training camp's Military Appreciation Day presented by GEICO Military.

"My family and I, we're huge Redskins fans, so that's one reason why we're definitely out here," LaJuya said. "My father-in-law is from D.C., and it runs in the family being Redskins fans."

On Day 3 of the team's training camp practices, the Hackleys joined many other servicemen and women and their families on the sidelines of the Bon Secours Washington Redskins Training Center's fields to watch the players perform. Though the Hackleys support every player that wears the burgundy and gold, they agreed that Josh Norman is the family's favorite.

"He's a powerhouse on the field," LaJuya said of the cornerback. "He dominates the field when he's out there and he really shows great sportsmanship, so when he gets out there he actually owns it. I like that."

Husband Adriane Sr., who also served in the Army, echoed his wife's opinion.

"I like Norman. He doesn't back down from anybody. He stands his ground," Adriane Sr. said.

In addition to Norman, Adriane Sr. named other Redskins greats like Daryl Green and Art Monk, prompting his father, Jeffrey Hackley, to share a Redskins fan moment from the past.

"My favorite memory was at RFK Stadium when the Redskins beat the [Atlanta Falcons in the 1992 playoffs] and we threw all of those yellow [seat cushions]…that's my favorite memory, on the way to winning the Super Bowl [XXVI]," Jeffrey said. "We rocked the house!"
