2019 Military Combine presented by Lockheed Martin (Saturday, Nov. 2 from 4-7PM)
Redskins Salute is inviting 60 active-duty, reserve, retired, and/or veterans out to Redskins Park on Saturday, November 2 from 4-7pm to show off their skills and agility in the third annual Military Combine presented by Lockheed Martin. All participants will be welcomed into the Inova Sports and Performance Center where they will meet their coaches Super Bowl Champions, Clarence Vaughn & Ravin Caldwell. Participants will then perform a series of drills and workouts regularly practiced by top prospects in NFL Combines. The event will conclude with dinner brought to us by Subway in the Redskins Dining Room. Register here:
2019 Pack4Troops presented by Military Officers Association of America (Sunday, Nov. 3 from 12-4PM)
The Washington Redskins will be teaming up with Military Officers Association of America (MOAA) in support of USO-Metro to pack 1,000 care packages for service members deploying overseas this holiday season. At the conclusion of the one-hour long pack, all event attendees will be treated to lunch provided by Mission BBQ and enjoy a Washington Redskins vs. Buffalo Bills Watch Party at FedExField in the USO-Metro Club with two (2) Washington Redskins Alumni. We need twenty (20) volunteers to assist us pack 1,000 care packages! First come, first serve. Register here:
Redskins Salute Pro's vs. GI Joes presented by EA Games Madden 20 (Tuesday, Nov. 5 from 11AM-1PM)
On Tuesday, November 5th, Redskins Salute will be hosting the fourth annual Pro’s vs. GI Joes event in the National Capital Region in Truman Crawford Hall at Marine Barracks Washington (MBW). Marines stationed at MBW will partake in an NFL Madden 20 tournament sponsored by EA Sports and enjoy a lunch complementary of Mission BBQ with two current Washington Redskins players.

Redskins Salute Chalk Talk at RecruitMilitary Job Fair featuring Larry Michael and Gary Clark (Thursday, Nov. 7 from 10-11AM)
The Redskins will host a chalk talk with Gary Clark and Larry Michael before the RecruitMilitary Job Fair at FedExField on November 7. Clark will discuss his experience in the NFL and his transition from football to his current life. In addition, two fellows from the FedEx - Redskins fellowship program, Emily Arnsberg & Charnecia McGee, will be present to talk about their experience working in the front office of the organization. In partnership with FedEx and the USO, the Redskins launched the inaugural military football fellowship program last fall, which creates on-the-job professional experiences for recently transitioned service members. Lowe’s USO Service Member Do-It-Yourself Drywall Patching Workshop (Saturday, Nov. 9 from 10AM-12PM)
Lowe’s will team up with the Washington Redskins and USO of Metropolitan Washington-Baltimore to host 50 service members and military spouses for Do-It-Yourself Drywall Patching Workshop. In honor of Salute to Service Month, Lowe’s will invite instructors that have transitioned from the military to teach the courses and bridge a gap in elaborating why these skillsets are important for service members and spouses throughout deployments.Open to all military members and military spouses.Register to attend the Lowe’s USO Service Member Do-It-Yourself Drywall Patching Workshop FedExField here:
Redskins Salute Podcast Party & BBQ YUM Lunch at the USO Warrior & Family Center at Fort Belvoir (Tuesday, Nov. 12)
In celebration of Veteran’s Day 2019, the Washington Redskins will be hosting a podcast party in the multipurpose room of the USO Warrior & Family Center at Fort Belvoir. At 9:00 AM, Voice of the Washington Redskins, Larry Michael, will kick the party off by welcoming active-duty service members and military dependents the opportunity to come and watch three of the Redskins’ most popular weekly podcasts: Riggo the Diesel, 26 Minutes with Clinton Portis, and the Cooley Show. The podcasts will be taped live from 9AM-1PM.
Event is open to Active-Duty Service Members & Military Dependents with access to the USO Warrior & Family Center at Fort Belvoir. Registration is not required.

Redskins Salute Re-Enlistment Series at FedExField (Sunday, Nov. 3 | Thursday, Nov. 21 | Sunday, Dec. 15)
The Washington Redskins are proud to host five service members re-enlisting in the United States Army, as well as their families and Army Officers officiating the ceremony, at FedExField on Sunday, November 3, 2019. The ceremony will take place in the East Endzone of FedExField while the American Flag will be displayed on the Redskins HDBoard. Friends and family will be welcomed to take photos from the East Endzone.
Dwayne Haskins’ Military Family Tour of Redskins Park presented by Eastern’s Automotive Group (Tuesday, Nov. 12)
Location: Redskins Park
Event Time: 4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
The Redskins will host a tour of Redskins Park for military families with a family member or spouse receiving treatment in the Murtha Cancer Center of Walter Reed Military Medical Center. The day will feature a tour of the facilities, lunch in the team cafeteria and many more surprises for our wounded, ill, & injured service members and their families.
BEDGEAR & Redskins to Donate Performance Mattresses and Pillows to Operation Homefront (Tuesday, Nov. 26)
Location: Operation Homefront Transitional Housing Village
Event Time: 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
BEDGEAR is teaming up with the Washington Redskins to donate performance mattresses and pillows to the Operation Homefront Transitional Housing Village. This is a housing unit designed to enable military families to heal together, while bridging what can be a lengthy gap between military pay ending and veteran benefits beginning. Two current Redskins players will join BEDGEAR in bringing beds and meeting/greeting military families in need.
Gold Star Family Tour of Redskins Park presented by Tuesday’s Children (Sunday, Dec. 1)
Location: Redskins Park
Event Time: 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Redskins Salute will be hosting four (4) Gold Star Families with two Super Bowl Champion Alumni accompanying the group to see and view all of the behind-the-scenes rooms, training facilities, and offices of the Washington Redskins players and executives. Lunch will be provided in the Redskins players’ auditorium. The tour will conclude with a mini-watch party of the Redskins vs. Panthers game in the auditorium.
