2019 Free Agent Profile: Trent Brown

A mammoth of a man standing at 6-foot-8, 380-pounds, Brown is about as physically menacing as they come in the NFL.

After being largely overlooked and under-appreciated throughout his three-year tenure with the 49ers missing games due to injury and only rotating in as a sub for others, Brown found his niche in New England, and Bill Belichick's offense.

The longtime Patriots head coach traded the 95th, and 143rd selections in 2018's draft for Browns' services.

Almost a full year later, and the move has proved its value, and more for Belichick.

Not only did Brown successfully make the switch from right tackle to left tackle, he also played in all 16 regular season games, and all three postseason games for the Patriots. ProFootballFocus rated him as the 32nd ranked tackle in the NFL.
