2019 Free Agent Profile: Donovan Smith

Smith is the top left tackle on the market and could earn anywhere from $12-million to 14-million per season, the asking price for top edge blockers in the NFL.

He has been incredibly durable and hasn't missed a game in four seasons, starting 64 in a row, a welcome sight as the Redskins have suffered critical injuries along their offensive line the past two seasons.

At only 25, he has room to get better, and with the help of Redskins offensive line coach Bill Callahan, he could develop into one of the premier blockers in the NFL.

If the Redskins were to show interest in Smith, a decision would have to be made internally, as both perennial Pro-Bowler Trent Williams, and Morgan Moses book-end Washington's offensive line, and look to be anchored there for a long, long time.
