After five solid seasons with the Denver Broncos, CJ Anderson signed with the Carolina Panthers last offseason. Anderson was released mid-season before being signed and waived by the Oakland Raiders without ever playing for them. Anderson then signed with the Los Angeles Rams where he was able to put himself in the shop window for free agency.

Anderson only played two regular season games for the Rams, but he stole the spotlight in those two games. He ran for 299 yards and two touchdowns on a whopping seven yards per carry, while also getting four receptions for 17 yards. In the playoffs, Anderson got 189 yards and two touchdowns on 46 carries.

In his first five years with Denver, Anderson started 36 of the 58 games he played in. In those 58 games, Anderson tallied 693 rushes for 3,051 yards and 20 touchdowns. Anderson was also selected to the Pro Bowl in 2014, his second season.
