The Washington Redskins Cheerleaders are incredibly excited for the 2017 season to get started! Jordan W. shares what she's most excited for as she gets ready for her first season!

Hi Redskins Nation,

Before becoming a WRC, I heard so many people say once you make the team life will never be the same. Over the past four months, I've experienced some of these life changes first hand. I've practiced and danced as I never have before and have been presented with amazing opportunities. However, I CANNOT wait for the most exciting opportunity you receive as a WRC - GAME DAY!

I've imagined so many times what it will be like performing on the field for the first time and now that moment is only two days away! While it is easy to get caught up in the stress of remembering choreography, formations and all of the details that come with game day, I'm reassured when I remember the preparation goes far beyond this week's practice. Our directors and captains have been preparing us for this day since April! Every workout, every Tuesday and Thursday spent in the studio, every extra practice with my rookie sisters will be worth it when I take the biggest stage in my dance career at FedExField!

Look for me on Game Day; I will be the cheerleader with a huge smile on her face and passion in her heart! So excited to share my love for performing with the best fans in the NFL! I CANNOT wait for you to see what we've been preparing :)
