  • In his rookie season, appeared in 14 games with two starts and registered 17 tackles, including a tackle for loss.

  • Finished his collegiate career at Hawaii after beginning at Blinn College in Brenham, Texas.

  • Also saw time at kickoff returner and averaged 29.6 yards on 14 kickoffs, which ranked fifth nationally, and returned a kickoff 90 yards for a score against Charleston Southern.
  • As a sophomore at Blinn in 2006, was named a first-team NJCAA All-American and was voted team’s most outstanding defensive player while helping Blinn to a perfect 12-0 record and the JC Gridwire 2006 National Championship.
  • In 2005, played in 10 games with two starts and had four interceptions as a freshman at Blinn.

Personal

  • Attended Katy H.S. in Houston and led the team to the Texas 5A Division II championship.
  • Starred on both sides of the ball as a wide receiver and cornerback in Katy’s championship season and was an all-area and all-state selection and a Texas Top 100 pick as a senior.
