  • As a sophomore, he played in eight games and had 11 receptions for 140 yards and two touchdowns. In his freshman season, he played seven games making two starts and registering six receptions for 63 yards and one touchdown.

Personal:

  • In 2011, he helped the Washington Redskins Charitable Foundation collect new children’s books for distribution to underprivileged children in the Washington D.C. area.
  • He attended Saint Thomas Aquinas High School, where his position coach was former Minnesota Vikings All-Pro receiver Cris Carter.
  • Was selected the Class 6A-4A Broward County Male Athlete of the Year by the Miami Herald as a senior.
  • Earned All-Broward County honors, and was rated the 33rd best prospect in the state by the St. Petersburg times.
  • Was a member of the 2006 Atlanta Journal Constitution Super Southern 100 squad.
  • Helped Saint Thomas Aquinas to three consecutive Class 5A title games.
  • As a senior, he caught 39 passes for 803 yards and 14 touchdowns.
  • Also lettered in basketball.
  • Trained with former Miami Dolphins wide receiver Mark Duper during his offseason in Miami.
  • Has two children, son Leonard III, daughter, Kienarria and is expecting a third.
  • Majored in criminology at the University of Miami.
