Over his career he totaled, 208 tackles, 11 interceptions (two for ouchdowns), and five fumbkle recoveries.
As a senior he had 91 tackles, five interceptions, and two fumble recoveries, and as a junior, he had 75 tackles and four interceptions.
Also played running back and punter. Rushed for 1,639 and 20 touchdowns on 158 career attempts. He held a career punting average of 39 yards (14 punts for 546 yards).
