  • Missed the entire season while fighting a hip injury and a sports hernia. Placed on Injured Reserve following Week 3.

  • Named to the NFC Pro Bowl squad.
  • Helped Saints finish first in the league in overall and passing offense.
  • Started all 15 regular season games in which he appeared.
  • Protected quarterback Drew Brees, who finished the season with 5,069 passing yards, the second-best mark in NFL history, and 34 touchdown passes, which tied for the league lead.
  • Declared inactive on Dec. 11 at Chicago with an ankle injury.

  • Sidelined with ankle injury vs. Atlanta (Oct. 16), at St. Louis (Oct. 23) and at Tampa Bay (Jan. 1, 2006).

 

College

  • Three-year starter and four-year letterman at Oklahoma.
  • Was a consensus All-Big 12 pick for his last three years at right tackle.
  • In 2004, received the Outland Trophy, awarded to the nation's top offensive lineman.
  • Was the anchor of a line that allowed RB Adrian Peterson to set the NCAA record for rushing yardage by a freshman in 2004.
  • As a consensus All-American, helped lead the Sooners to a Big 12 title in 2004.
  • Allowed no sacks in 2004, and only one in 2003.
  • Led Oklahoma in blocking consistency for two years, and earned the highest grade among the school's blockers in 20 of his final 26 contests.
