Was a three-time First Team All-CIAA selection, earning the award as a freshman, sophomore and senior... Established school and CIAA records with eight blocked kicks during his career, returning a blocked field goal 82 yards for a touchdown... Earned first-team HBCU All-America honors as a senior in 2008 after establishing career highs with 51 tackles, six interceptions and 13 passes defensed. Was named the Virginia Small School Defensive Player of the Year... As a senior, tied for ninth in the nation and second in the league with seven interceptions and set the school record with three blocked kicks, returning one blocked punt for a touchdown...
