College:

Played two seasons at Washington from 2009-10, appearing in nine games.
Played in Washington’s 2010 Holiday Bowl victory, helping to protect Jake Locker in a win against Nebraska.
Before attending Washington, played at the junior college level at Allan Hancock College in Santa Maria, Calif.
Was named to the 2008 All-Northern National Conference team and to the All-California Region III first team as a sophomore.
Helped Hancock earn a spot in the playoffs, where they fell to Mt. San Antonio College.
Played for Hancock in 2006, but sat out 2007 season due to injury.

Personal:

Played his high school football at Bayside High in Queens, N.Y.
Played at tight end and defensive end in high school.
Named second-team All-City by Newsday and second-team All-Queens by the New York Daily News as a senior, when he helped the Commodores to the NYC Public Schools quarterfinals.
Was also a standout on the Bayside basketball team.
