His three interception returns for touchdowns are the most in school history and one shy of the ACC career-record of four... Recorded 169 tackles (131 solos) and two stops for loss in his career... Recovered one fumble, deflected 18 passes and gained 42 yards on a pair of kickoff returns...Won 12 of the 14 games in which he had at least one interception... As a junior in 2012, was named to the All-ACC second team, recording five interceptions and a career-high 60 tackles (48 solos) in 13 games started... As a sophomore in 2011, earned All-American and All-ACC honors as he set school and league season records with 13 interceptions with 205 return yards, including two touchdowns. His 13 picks led the nation... Recipient of the Jack Tatum Award after the season, given annually to the nation’s top defensive back... Named the College Football Performance Awards Defensive Back of the Year... The 13 interceptions tied George Shaw of Oregon (1951) for the second-most interceptions in major college history, one shy of Washington’s Al Worley (14 in 1968)... Became just the third player in conference history to intercept at least 10 passes, (North Carolina’s Dre Bly - 11 in 1996, and Maryland’s Bob Sullivan - 10 in 1965)... In 2010, was one of just five true freshmen to start a game for the Wolfpack, playing in 13 games with nine starts... Finished with 50 tackles (39 solos) and one pass deflection on defense.

Attended Dudley H.S. in Greensboro, N.C... Starred as a safety and running back... Received a four-star rating and was ranked as the nation’s 16th-best safety and sixth-best overall prospect in the state of North Carolina by Rivals. com... Was also named to the 2009 4A all-state football team... As a junior, he recorded 60 tackles and nine interceptions... In his senior campaign, produced 55 tackles and six picks... Also averaged 14 yards per punt return that season and excelled in the classroom, graduating with a 3.5 grade-point average... Was a sociology major... Participated in the Get the Ball Rolling Flag Football Experience with 120 middle school students at Redskins Park in 2014... Is the son of Tawanna Taylor... Born Dec. 8, 1991 in Honolulu, Hawaii.
