During 2014 holiday season, teamed up with Capes4Heroes, a non-profit organization that designs capes for children with life threatening illnesses, at El Camino Hospital in Mountain View, Calif... Traveled to Afghanistan and Qatar with five fellow NFL players as part of the NFL-USO tour. Stopped at Al Udeid Air Force Base, 40 miles outside of Doha, Qatar, then traveled on to Bagram Air Force Base in Afghanistan... In March 2010, joined his younger brother, Vontae, and six other NFL players on a humanitarian trip to Uganda and Rwanda to distribute 22,000 hearing aids throughout African regions as part of the Pros for Africa organization... Hosted a football and mentoring clinic at Howard University with his brother in 2010... Founded the Vernon Davis Foundation for the Arts to promote art education and art appreciation among youth from disadvantaged backgrounds.
