Earned all-state honors as a senior lineman at Worcester Burncoat High School.

Earned three-time Inter-High all-star honors and captured 2003 team MVP honors.
Served as team captain for head coach Chris Moriarty.
Played in the 2004 Massachusetts Shriners Football Classic.
Also excelled as a member of Burncoat's track and field team and won the state shot put title in 2003 and 2004.
