Played collegiately at Baylor, where he started 36 of the 49 games in which he appeared, earning All-Big 12 Conference honors three times... Finished his career with 261 tackles (179 solo), two sacks, 12 interceptions, 27 passes defensed, one forced fumble and three fumble recoveries... Was a first-team All-Big 12 Conference selection after starting all 13 games as a redshirt senior, registering 76 tackles (51 solo), six interceptions, 11 passes defensed and one fumble recovery... Played 10 games (9 starts) as a junior and totaled 64 tackles (50 solo), one sack, one interception, four passes defensed, one forced fumble and two fumble recoveries, earning honorable mention All-Big 12 recognition...
