• Saw action as a kick returner for the first time in his career and registered the team’s longest kickoff return of the season (76 yards).
• Rushed the ball one time for 20 yards, the longest of his career.
• Recorded a career-high 183 all-purpose yards at Philadelphia.

2008 (49ers)

• Started one of his 12 games played.
• Notched 20 receptions for 319 yards and three touchdowns.
• His first career reception was for an eight yard gain at Seattle.
• All three touchdowns came from over 30 yards.
• Caught a game-winning 48 yard touchdown between two defenders at St. Louis with only 1:31 left in the 4^th quarter.

College:

• Played in 51 games (24 starts) for the Hokies.
• Posted 122 receptions for 1,817 yds. and 16 TDs. Also added 26 kickoff returns for 450 yards and 6 carries for 20 yds.
• Finished career ranked 2nd in school history with 122 receptions (WR Ernest Wilford - 126 receptions) and 4th with 1,817 rec. yds. and 16 rec. TDs.
• In 2007, played in 14 games (11 starts) and led the Hokies with a career-high 46 receptions for 552 yds. and 5 TDs, while adding 16 kickoffs for 276 yds.
• As a junior, played in 12 games (11 starts), registering 33 receptions for 448 yds. and 4 TDs.
• In 2005, played in 13 games (1 start), recording 28 receptions for 471 yds. and 4 TDs.

PERSONAL

• Attended Howard D. Woodson HS in Washington, DC, and earned All-DCIAA honors as a senior.
• Spent the 2003 fall semester at Fork Union Military Academy, catching 33 passes for 845 yds. with 8 TDs.
• Also blocked 4 punts and posted 1 punt return for a TD.
• Also excelled in basketball, earning MVP honors in two tournaments.
• Born Joshua Lewis Morgan (6/20/85) in Washington, DC.
• Dedicated a lot of his time as a youth to writing poems. Eventually wants to write books, including a book of poetry and his autobiography.
• Credits his godparents, Patrick Gaither, who was his AAU basketball coach, and Sonja Strickland-Gaither, as having the biggest influence on him growing up.
• Has a tattoo on his bicep of a breast cancer ribbon with angels’ wings. On the ribbon it has Sonja’s name and the date of her diagnosis.
