The Washington Redskins on Tuesday announced the signing of linebacker Nico Marley, who tried out over the weekend at the team's annual rookie minicamp at the Inova Sports Performance Center at Redskins Park in Loudoun County, Va.

Marley also recorded three sacks, three fumbles forced, two fumble recoveries and an interception.

As a junior in 2015, Marley earned first-team all-conference honors as he collected 82 tackles (13 for loss), along with one sack, one fumble forced and one interception.

In 2014 as a sophomore, Marley registered 82 tackles in 12 starts

The Weston, Fla., native appeared in 13 games with 12 starts as a freshman, tallying 67 tackles (10 for loss), two sacks, two passes defensed, one fumble forced and an interception en route to a Conference USA Co-Freshman of the Year selection.
