-- Defensive end Jason Hatcher -- who recorded a career-high 11 sacks in 2013 -- logged a sack in his Redskins debut. He talked about his quarterback takedown and the defense's overall performance.

-- Hauling in an 11-yard touchdown reception in the third quarter of Saturday's preseason game vs. the Baltimore Ravens, Santana Moss admitted this his mindset is always the same regardless of when his number is called.

-- Speaking of wide receivers grabbing touchdown passes, Nick Williams scored a touchdown for a second straight game, this time in the red zone.

-- Head coach Jay Gruden said the team needs to do a better job executing as the regular season approaches.
