--With news that the Redskins' coaching staff does not intend to change the offense dramatically heading into 2013, one reporter asks if the read-option is really the best way to protect quarterback Robert Griffin III.

--If that's the case, then whose job is it to make sure Robert Griffin III stays upright this season? A hint: all 10 of his teammates on the field during a given play.

--Don't understand all of the hype and controversy over the Redskins' zone-read offense? One reporter gives readers a crash course on the ins and outs of the new-fangled NFL sensation.

--One of the reasons the Redskins went out and drafted two late-round running backs this year is because they liked what they saw from Alfred Morris. If that doesn't quite add up, consider that the Redskins and Morris are both focused on having a long, successful career in Washington.

--The fullback competition was narrowed to two yesterday, as the Redskins waived Dorson Boyce, leaving Darrel Young and Eric Kettani as the only fullbacks on the roster.

--Starting Redskins fullback Darrel Young was a restricted free agent this past offseason and told the media he was excited to be back with the Redskins for another year.
