-- On Wednesday, head coach Jay Gruden provided a progress report on the defense and has already noticed the depth on the unit.

-- Also on Wednesday, Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III met a 16-year-old fan who said the signal caller saved her life after she battled deep bouts of depression.

-- Giving the Redskins a dynamic playmaker at a position some teams have underutilized in recent seasons, fullback Darrel Young on the offense during OTAs and the importance of community work.
