-- As the Washington Redskins closed their 2014 draft class with a kicker, a move team brass said was based on competition and depth, one local reporter thinks the team is retooling its identity. 

-- While we are still months away from the 53-man roster being complete, one reporter gives his early predictions on who will make the squad.

-- With competition heating up across the board to land a spot on the final roster, one national reporter thinks these 11 returning players must show something over the new few months. 

-- Second-round pick Trent Murphy had an interesting day before getting a call from the Redskins on Friday. 

-- With the Redskins having so many quick, diminutive wide receivers, one reporter likes the size of the tight ends to complement the receivers' assets.
