--As the NFL discusses the possibility of the league expanding the playoffs, one writer believes that this action is a “when, not if” scenario.

--With a few deals getting done around the league on Monday, including safety Nate Allen re-signing with the Eagles, the Redskins should be able to use those as guidance moving forward in free agency.

--After exactly one week of free agency, one blogger asks five questions that Redskins fans should have about the team thus far.

--The Redskins and free agent offensive tackle Donald Penn continue to push hard to reach an agreement. If the two reach a deal, it is believed that Penn will take over at the right tackle position.

--Quarterback Robert Griffin III and his receivers will head out to Arizona next week to begin workouts as they prepare for the 2014 season.

--According to reports, the Washington Redskins have agreed to bring back safety Brandon Meriweather as the two parties reached a one-year deal. The Redskins have been looking to add a starting safety during free agency.

--One writer examines a few of the new Redskins players including Andre Roberts, Tracy Porter, and Darryl Sharpton and predicts how they will fit in with the team this season.

--The NFL instant replay system is going to get a closer look next week as the NFL owners may vote on some changes. One change may allow referees to receive guidance from members of the league office while deciding a ruling.

--Long time Redskins fan and NASCAR driver Dale Earnhardt Jr. gives his opinion of the Redskins free agency moves to this point over Twitter.

--A writer asks the question; is David Amerson ready to start at cornerback for the Redskins? The team re-signed DeAngelo Hall and has added Tracy Porter during free agency this offseason.
