--A look at the Redskins team that had gone from playing the Seattle Seahawks in a Wild Card round playoff game to going 3-13 this past season. One reporter tries to answer the question, are the Redskins as bad as their record indicates?

--What the Redskins can take away from this past weekends conference title games including how mobile quarterbacks don’t have to run to impact the outcome of the game. Seattle’s quarterback Russell Wilson rushed for zero yards but kept plays alive with his scrambling ability.

--Redskins running back Alfred Morris replaces Seattle’s Marshawn Lynch in this years Pro Bowl. Morris finished the 2013 season with 1,275 yards and joins Redskins left tackle Trent Williams who was picked to go last season as well.

--One reporter looks at different ways to improve FedExField from a fan and owner perspective. One improvement is the addition of a family zone, several stadiums across the NFL have them which is a nice feature for parents of small children.

--What positions the Redskins should consider improving during this years free agency period. One writer feels that defensive end should be the Redskins number one concern and Greg Hardy from the Carolina Panthers or Michael Johnson from the Cincinnati Bengals could become impact players.

--According to sources, the Redskins are committed to new head coach Jay Gruden and offered him a five-year contract that will pay him over $20 million.

--How quarterback Robert Griffin III is helping Baylor University in its recruiting process according to reports. Sources say that Griffin is helping Baylor recruit Cordell Broadus who is the son of famous recording artist Snoop Dogg.

--A look at the Redskins coaching staff that is beginning to take shape under new head coach Jay Gruden and Gruden’s take on newly signed receivers coach Ike Hilliard. Gruden said, “He knows the receiver position as good as any.”

--A question and answer session with new offensive coordinator Sean McVay including what he thinks about critics that say his young age of 27 will hurt him as a coach.

--New offensive coordinator Sean McVay spoke about wide receivers Leonard Hankerson and Aldrick Robinson. McVay spoke about Hankerson’s road to recovery and said, “He has the ability and traits you’re looking for in a guy.”

--A detailed breakdown of the Redskins defense last season and some interesting stats that suggest the defense is not too far off from regaining respectability around the league. One statistic that is telling, the Redskins faced only 77 drives that started at the opponents’ 20 yard line or worse which is second fewest in the NFL.

--According to reports ESPN considered avoiding using the word Redskins when talking about the Washington Redskins to avoid controversy.

--New head coach Jay Gruden’s take on quarterback Robert Griffin III’s running ability. Gruden said, “The way he is as a runner, we have to take advantage of that.”

--Who the Redskins should target in this years NFL Draft including Alabama’s safety Ha Ha Clinton-Dix. The Redskins’ first pick baring no trades will be the 34th in the 2nd round and Clinton-Dix has the ability to be an impact rookie next season.
