--Quarterback Robert Griffin III bounces back from a career worst game in Denver to having his best completion percentage of his career. Griffin completed 71 percent of his passes and completed six out of 10 attempts for first downs.

--Unsung hero Darrel Young gets his moment to shine vs. the Chargers with three touchdown runs. His third touchdown came in overtime and helped seal the Redskins 30-24 victory.

--One writer describes what the Redskins will need to do to salvage the season and make a playoff push. Getting production from linebacker Brian Orakpo will be important as Orakpo only has three sacks through eight games.

--How the Redskins defense’s goal line stand can be a turning point for the Redskins season. The Chargers had the ball on the Redskins one yard line and the Redskins defense held them to a field goal to force overtime.

--Despite not scoring a touchdown, Redskins receiver Pierre Garcon was key playmaker in the Redskins overtime victory. Possibly the most important was his 17-yard reception in overtime that helped put the Redskins in the Chargers territory.

--One writer describes the final plays of the 4th quarter including Chargers running back Danny Woodhead’s overturned touchdown play.

--Redskins kicker Kai Forbath’s reactions after two of his field goal attempts were blocked by the Chargers. Going into Sunday’s game vs. the Chargers, Forbath had made four of six attempts this season.

--The Redskins inactive list for the Redskins-Chargers game includes tight end Fred Davis. This is Davis’ third straight game being placed on the inactive list.

--A Q&A session with Redskins running back Roy Helu Jr. including his rugby experience and how it differs from football.

--Prior to Sunday, the Redskins have lost three straight games when they wore their throwback uniforms.

--How a tough decision by quarterback Robert Griffin III kept the offensive drive alive. Redskins fans held their breath as Griffin scrambled out of the pocket and flew through the air for a first down.

--The best and worst plays from the Redskins-Chargers game including Pierre Garcon’s breakout game where he had seven receptions for 172 yards receiving.

--The Redskins offense excelled in the Redskins 30-24 victory against the Chargers including how the team’s balanced attack of 40 rushing attempts and 32 passing attempts kept the Chargers off balance.

--What you need to know after the Redskins overtime victory including how the offensive line dominated by not allowing a sack for the first time this season.

--Redskins running back Alfred Morris continues to be reliable and affective by having his best game of the year. Morris finished the day with 25 carries for 125 yards and a touchdown.

--One writer thinks that the Redskins goal-line stand may have saved the season. Redskins linebacker London Fletcher commented on the stand and said, “It says there’s a lot of fight in this team.”

--Why Redskins head coach Mike Shanahan thought quarterback Robert Griffin III’s scramble for a first down in the third quarter was the play of the game.

--How instant replay played an important role in the Redskins 30-24 overtime win vs. the Chargers. Chargers running back Danny Woodhead’s six-yard touchdown reception was overturned after a review showed the ball did not touch the pylon.

--Former Redskins players comment on the current team name controversy as the Redskins honored their former players including members of the Super Bowl XXII championship team.
