--Redskins remain focused even with expiring contracts looming. Seven defensive starters are in the last year of their contracts.

--One reporter looks at the Redskins currently at 3-6 and how head coach Mike Shanahan can lead the team out of their losing ways.

--Head coach Mike Shanahan is in the fourth of a five year contract and when asked about a contract extension he said, “I do not think about it.”

--Quarterback Robert Griffin III admitted that he needs to take fewer hits as he scrambles. The Vikings were credited by the NFL with eight QB hits on Thursday and Griffin remembers two “shots” he would have liked to avoid.

--The Eagles and first year coach Chip Kelly prepare for an improved quarterback in Robert Griffin III. In his last two games Griffin has completed 68 percent of his passes and thrown for 572 yards.

--Why the Redskins defense has had little success against quick tempo offenses and how teams like Green Bay and the Vikings were able to take advantage. When the Vikings went to the hurry up, quarterback Christian Ponder had his career best completion percentage (81 percent) which kept the Redskins pass rush in check with zero sacks.

--Newly-promoted wide receiver Nick Williams looks to prove his worth as he is on the 53-man roster. Williams doesn’t lack confidence and said, “Wherever they feel like I have a place, I feel like I can do it.”

--Injured offensive lineman Maurice Hurt practiced for the first time since spending 10 weeks and all of training camp on the Physically Unable to Perform list. Hurt started eight games at left guard as a rookie.

--Tight end Fred Davis was placed on the inactive list for the fifth time this season. Davis could have earned a reported $500,000 roster bonus if he had been active for 12 games this season.

--One reporter looks at the special teams unit and how their play compares to some of the worst special teams units ever. According to the Football Outsiders Almanac this years unit ranks third worst in the last 20 years.

--Wide receiver Pierre Garcon comments on his “fangs” and how his mouthpiece tradition got started in Indianapolis.

--Defensive lineman Ryan Kerrigan knows that the NFC East is still up for grabs and the defense cannot let leads slip away. The Redskins have four divisional games left on their schedule starting with the Eagles this Sunday.

--The Redskins did not hold anyone out of practice on Wednesday and have a healthy team going into the Eagles game this Sunday.

--What you need to know as the Redskins prepare for the Eagles this Sunday including defensive players Jarvis Jenkins and Ryan Kerrigan speaking on defensive execution.

--One writer explains the status of the Redskins at week 11 of the regular season and how the Redskins should rely on running back Alfred Morris. During last years seven game winning streak, Morris carried the ball at least 20 times per game.

--Veteran wide receiver Santana Moss knows the type of mindset it takes to win in the NFL. When asked about Sunday’s game being a must win he said, “every game that we play is a must to me.”

--Redskins fans should be optimistic for the second half of the season due to their offense. In the last five games the Redskins rank first in rushing yards per game (187.4) and first in yards per rush (5.21).

--A preview of the Redskins-Eagles game including a break down of Eagles quarterback Nick Foles. Foles is 0-4 at home and has a passer rating of 73.8, the Eagles have lost all six home games Foles has played in his career.
