--Redskins tight end Niles Paul gave the Redskins the best starting field position of the season vs. the Vikings as he took over the kick off return role.

--One reporter looks ahead to see if the Redskins can catch fire at 3-6 and make a playoff push. The Redskins were in the same position last year and became the fourth team since the playoffs were expanded in 1990 to make the playoffs starting the season 3-6 in 2012.

--One reporter feels that the Redskins season looks dismal moving forward after losing to the Minnesota Vikings. The Redskins were leading by 13 and lost 34-27 on Thursday night.

--Five players who need to improve their play for the Redskins to win consecutive games this season. Wide receiver Josh Morgan and offensive lineman Chris Chester make the list as Morgan only has 124 yards receiving this year and Chester has allowed 27 QB hurries this season.

--Special teams plays have been disappointing this season and one reporter looks to the lack of blocking as a reason why. On punt returns wide receiver Josh Morgan has averaged just 7.4 yards on nine attempts.

--A look at the Redskins rushing attack and how it differs from a year ago. The Redskins finished last year with the No. 1 running game in the NFL, this year through nine games the Redskins are No. 4 with 1,361 total yards rushing.

--Five players who have surprised with impressive play in the 2013 season. Defensive back DeAngelo Hall and wide receiver Leonard Hankerson made the list as Hall has two touchdowns this season and Hankerson is on pace for 52 receptions for 650 yards.

--One reporter answers Redskins fans questions including why does this years team seem more undisciplined than last year.

--Redskins linebacker London Fletcher comments on the NFL’s locker room culture when asked about Richie Incognito’s use of racial slurs.

--A review of the Redskins season through nine games including the defensive line’s lack of a consistent pass rush. The Redskins allowed Christian Ponder to have a quarterback rating of 113.1 and quarterbacks Christian Ponder and Matt Cassel to complete 77 percent of their passes.
