Reed, Forbath Among Redskins Inactives

Posted Sep 29, 2013

The Washington Redskin will be without major contributors TE Jordan Reed, LB Brandon Jenkins and K Kai Forbath, all inactive for Sunday's game vs. Oakland Raiders.

The Washington Redskins will be without top-producing tight end Jordan Reed (quad) and starting kicker Kai Forbath (groin) this afternoon vs. the Oakland Raiders, as inactives were announced.

Starting tight end Fred Davis (ankle) is active and will likely reprise his role as the team's top tight end option.

Kicker John Potter, who has started the last two games for the Redskins in place of Forbath, will continue his role this week on the infield dirt at the O.co Coliseum.

Here are the full Redskins inactives:

The Oakland Raiders will start Matt Flynn vs. the Redskins this afternoon, as Flynn makes only his third NFL start.

Incumbent starter Terrelle Pryor (concussion) will not be active for this afternoon's game, making rookie Matt McGloin the Raiders backup quarterback.

Here are the full list of Raiders inactives:

  • No. 2 Quarterback Terrelle Pryor
  • No. 33 Safety Tyvon Branch
  • No. 71 Tackle Menelik Watson
  • No. 74 Gaurd Antoine McClain
  • No. 76 Guard Lucas Nix
  • No. 84 Wide receiver Juron Criner
  • No. 93 Defensive end Jason Hunter

Former Redskins offensive tackle Tony Pashos will start for the Raiders today at right tackle. Familiar foe, former Cowboys center Andre Gurode, will start at left guard.
