Redskins Return Key Contributors Tonight

Posted Oct 13, 2013

The Washington Redskins announced gameday inactives, with Kai Forbath, Jarvis Jenkins, Rob Jackson, Jordan Reed, Fred Davis and Alfred Morris all active tonight.

The Washington Redskins announced gameday inactives, with Kai Forbath, Jarvis Jenkins, Rob Jackson, Jordan Reed, Logan Paulsen Fred Davis and Alfred Morris all active tonight.

Jenkins and Jackons return to the Redskins after four games away due to suspension. Forbath (right groin) returns for the first time in three games, with Jordan Reed, Logan Paulsen, Fred Davis and Alfred Morris all operating at full health.

The full list of inactives includes few surprises, with only rookie safety Bacarri Rambo getting his first inactive of the year. He is still listed atop the depth chart at free safety but has found himself with decreased opportunities since the Week 2 game in Green Bay.

With Jordan Pugh also inactive, the Redskins are expected to turn to a combination of Brandon Meriweather, Reed Doughty and E.J. Biggers at the back end of the defense.

Here is the full list of Redskins inactives:

Wide receiver Joshua Morgan is expected to return kickoffs and punts in place of No. 25 Chris Thompson.

Safety Brandon Meriweather is expected to start at free safety in place of No. 24 Bacarri Rambo.

Veteran Reed Doughty is expected to start at strong safety in place of Meriweather.

Third year receiver Leonard Hankerson is expected to start at wide receiver in place of Morgan.

Here is the full list of Cowboys inactives:

  • No. 25 Running back Lance Dunbar
  • No. 33 Cornerback Chris Greenwood
  • No. 55 Defensive End Edgar Jones
  • No. 62 Guard David Arkin
  • No. 67 Center Phil Costa
  • No. 75 Tackle Darrion Weems
  • No. 87 Tight end Andre Smith
