Before the Redskins kickoff this Sunday vs. the Philadelphia Eagles, here is a look at benchmarks to keep an eye on, as compiled by Washington Redskins Public Relations.

Team:

• The Redskins forcing a turnover in their 14th straight regular season game, dating back to last year. The Redskins’ current 13-game streak is their longest under Shanahan. A 14th straight game would be the Redskins’ longest takeaway streak since a 21-game regular season streak from Weeks 4-17 of the 1995 season through Weeks 1-9 of the 1996 season.

• The Redskins intercepting a pass in an eighth straight game for the first time since recording a pick in eight straight games from Week 17 of the 2011 season through Weeks 1-7 of the 2012 season.

• The Redskins tying a team record by scoring their sixth defensive touchdown in a season for the first time since 1984. That season, Washington received defensive scores from Vernon Dean (two interception returns), Monte Coleman (interception return), Darrell Green (interception return), Darryl Grant (fumble return) and Curtis Jordan (fumble return). The team also had six defensive touchdowns in 1971 and 1973.

• The Redskins returning a fifth interception for touchdown this season to tie the team record (five in 1971).

• The Redskins exceeding 400 yards of offense in three consecutive games for the first time since Weeks 7-9 of the 1983 season.

• The Redskins rushing for 200 yards in a game for the fourth time this season, matching last year’s total. The Redskins and Eagles are tied for the NFL lead with three 200-yard games each this season.

• The Redskins rushing for 100 yards in an ninth consecutive game, which would represent the second longest streak of the Shanahan era.

Offense:

• Wide receiver Pierre Garçon posting a third consecutive 100-yard receiving game for the first time in his career.

• Garçon catching 10 passes to reach 71 for the season, which would surpass his previous career high of 70 set with the Colts in 2011.

• Garçon gaining 145 receiving yards to break his single-season career high (947 in 2011).

• Garçon amassing 197 receiving yards to post the 27th 1,000-yard receiving season in team history.

• Quarterback Robert Griffin III throwing for 300 yards for the fourth time in a season for the first time in his career. Griffin III has had three 300-yard passing games in both 2012 and the first four games of 2013.

• Griffin III joining Sonny Jurgensen (five in 1967), Joe Theismann (four in 1983), Jay Schroeder (five in 1986), Mark Rypien (five in 1989), and Brad Johnson (four in 1999) as the only players in team history to register at least four 300-yard passing games in a season.

• Griffin III recording his seventh career 300-yard passing game to tie Sammy Baugh and Jay Schroeder for fourth-most in team history.

• Griffin III throwing three touchdown passes to become the 13th quarterback in team history with 35 career touchdowns as a Redskin.

• Griffin III (five) throwing for 200 yards and rushing for 75 yards to tie Randall Cunningham and Michael Vick (six) for the most games in NFL history with at least 200 passing yards and at least 75 rushing yards.

• Wide receiver Leonard Hankerson catching a fourth touchdown pass this season to set a new single-season career high.

• Running back Alfred Morris rushing for 100 yards for the 11th time in his career.

• Morris eclipsing 100 rushing yards in three consecutive games for the first time since doing so across Weeks 12-14 last season.

• Morris scoring three rushing touchdowns to give him 21 for his career and tie him with Andy Farkas and Gerald Riggs for 10th-most in team history.

• Wide receiver Santana Moss scoring a touchdown to tie Stephen Davis for 10th-most total touchdowns in team history (48). With two touchdowns, he can tie former teammate Clinton Portis for ninth (49).

• Moss amassing 36 receiving yards to become the seventh active player to reach 10,000 career receiving yards (Tony Gonzalez, Reggie Wayne, Andre Johnson, Steve Smith, Larry Fitzgerald and Anquan Boldin).

• Tight end Jordan Reed (44 receptions for 487 yards) improving upon his team records for receptions and receiving yards by a rookie tight end.

• Reed gaining 100 receiving yards to join Jerry Smith (3 in 1967, 2 in1968) as the only Redskins tight ends with multiple 100-yard games in a single season.

Defense:

• Linebacker London Fletcher, the NFL’s active Iron Man, playing his 250th consecutive regular season game, extending his record by a defensive player since the 1970 merger and becoming only the fourth player in NFL history to push a consecutive games played streak to 250 (Jeff Feagles, Brett Favre and Jim Marshall).

• Fletcher starting his 209th consecutive regular season game, surpassing Derrick Brooks (208) for sole possession of the league record for most consecutive starts by a linebacker in NFL history.

• Cornerback DeAngelo Hall returning a fumble for a touchdown to tie Jessie Tuggle for the second-most in NFL history (five). Hall’s four career fumble return touchdowns are currently tied for third in NFL history with Bill Thompson, Derrick Thomas, Keith Bulluck and Ronde Barber.

• Hall returning a fumble for a touchdown to become the first player in NFL history with five fumble returns for touchdowns and five interception returns for touchdowns.

• Hall intercepting two passes to give him 24 interceptions as a member of the Redskins, which would tie him with Ken Houston for ninthmost in team history.

• Hall scoring a defensive touchdown to improve upon his team-record three defensive touchdowns this season (two via interception return, one via fumble return).

• Linebacker Ryan Kerrigan recording two sacks to match his single season career high (8.5) and tie Wilber Marshall for the 10th-most career sacks by a Redskin (24.5).

• Kerrigan returning an interception for a touchdown to become the first linebacker in team history to have an interception return for touchdown in three consecutive seasons.

• Linebacker Brian Orakpo (33.5 career sacks, seventh-most in team history) chasing Andre Carter (34.0, sixth) and Dave Butz (35.5, fifth) on the Redskins’ all-time sack list.

A Win Would...

… snap a three-game road losing streak.

… represent the Redskins’ first victory against the NFC East this season.

… improve the Redskins to 82-71-5 all-time against the Eagles. The Redskins’ current 81 wins against the Eagles all-time are their most against any opponent.

… make the Redskins 40-36-2 in regular season road games against the Eagles all-time.

… give the Redskins road wins against the Eagles in consecutive seasons for the first time since 2007-08.

… give Executive Vice President/Head Coach Mike Shanahan his179th career victory as a head coach, including postseason games.

… be Shanahan’s 171st career regular season victory as a head coach.

… make Shanahan the first Redskins head coach to win in Philadelphia in consecutive years since Joe Gibbs in 1988-89.
