Rambo, Tapp, Griffin III, Reed All Inactive

Posted Dec 15, 2013

The Washington Redskins and Atlanta Falcons announced inactives this morning, with a few expected and a few surprise names sitting out.

The Washington Redskins announced a number of predicatble names with today's gameday inactives, combined with a few surprise listings.

After starting last week in place of Reed Doughty, Bacarri Rambo will be inactive this week, joined by both outside linebackers Darryl Tapp and Brandon Jenkins.

Robert Griffin III has been scratched for the remainder of the season, leaving Rex Grossman as the team's active backup quarterback.

Fullback Darrel Young, who is active after dealing with a hamstring injury for three weeks, has been the team's emergency third quarterback in the past.

Jordan Reed (concussion) did not make the trip to Atlanta and likely did not pass NFL protocol necessary to return. He was ruled out yesterday.

  • No. 10 Quarterback Robert Griffin III
  • No. 24 Safety Bacarri Rambo
  • No. 25 Cornerback Chase Minnifield
  • No. 51 Linebacker Brandon Jenkins
  • No. 54 Linebacker Darryl Tapp
  • No. 67 Guard Josh LeRibeus
  • No. 86 Tight end Jordan Reed

On the other side of the field, the Atlanta Falcons will be without starting safety Thomas DeCoud, starting Zeke Motta in his place.

  • No. 28 Safety Thomas DeCoud
