Posted Aug 13, 2014

A brand new television studio featuring state-of-the-art technology was unveiled during the Aug. 13 episode of "Redskins Nation," hosted by Larry Michael, the Voice of the Redskins.

After seven years of unforgettable player interviews, memorable moments and great segments, a new television studio set on Wednesday was unveiled at Redskins Park in Ashburn, Va.

“Redskins Nation” -- a half-hour show devoted to providing fans unprecedented coverage of the team that's hosted by Larry Michael, Voice of the Washington Redskins – kicked off the non-stop coverage of the team entering the 2014 season and beyond using the new set.

Features include a television monitor wall of six, 46-inch televisions and a separate, touch-screen monitor that allows for the usage of a telestrator. In total, the old set hosted more than 2,500 episodes of “Redskins Nation”.

While “Redskins Nation” will continue to air Monday through Friday at 5:30 p.m. on CSN Washington, the set will also be home to the new “Redskins Coaches Show With Jay Gruden” that will air on Saturdays at NBC4.

Joining the first-year head coach will be Michael and Chris Cooley, Redskins legend and ESPN 980 personality.

The first episode will air at 7 p.m. Aug. 23 – 30 minutes prior to the Redskins’ Week 3 preseason game against the Baltimore Ravens. That game will air on NBC4 and Comcast SportsNet.
