On Friday, Dec. 20, 2013, Redskins HC Mike Shanahan addressed the media following afternoon practice at Redskins Park in Ashburn, VA.

.

On the injury report:
“We’ve got DY, [fullback] Darrel Young – his hamstring – he’s questionable. [Tackle] Trent Williams with his knee and [cornerback] E.J. Biggers – knee – probable.”

On wide receiver Aldrick Robinson:
“He’s got some great speed. He’s got the ability to make plays and it was nice for him, or for us, to capitalize on his ability. So I think it’ll just keep on getting better as time goes on. He’s a lot more comfortable with our offense, our system. But you like to see games like that.”

On if tight end Fred Davis can make an impact in the last two games:
“There’s no question. He played well last week, getting more into the groove, but we expect him to play well, so hopefully [he] has a big game this week for us.”

On if he has seen more out of Davis of late:
“Yeah, you  see him getting in football shape, more comfortable I think with himself. He’s getting a chance to play more with Jordan [Reed] being out, Niles [Paul] a little bit banged up and DY a little bit banged up. So he’s gotten a lot more opportunities, which I think has been good for him.”

On if Reed’s roster spot has been filled by another player:
“No, we have not done that yet.”

On if Reed’s roster spot will be filled before the game on Sunday:
“Probably not until after the game.”
