Meriweather, Griffin Among Today's Inactives

For the fifth-consecutive week, Redskins safety Brandon Meriweather has been ruled inactive today, joining fellow defensive back Cedric Griffin.

For the fifth-consecutive week, Redskins safety Brandon Meriweather has been ruled inactive today, joining fellow defensive back Cedric Griffin.

Quarterback Rex Grossman is also inactive for the fifth time, leaving rookies Robert Griffin III and Kirk Cousins as the only two active quarterbacks. 

Despite his inaction so far, Grossman has remained a fixture on the sideline, coaching Griffin III in clutch moments like last week's 2-minute drive.

Receiver Dezmon Briscoe is listed as inactive this week after being active last week.  Both Pierre Garcon and Aldrick Robinson are active this week after being limited and ruled out, respectively, in Tampa Bay.

Outside linebacker Markus White is inactive again this week, meaning that Rob Jackson and Chris Wilson will fill Brian Orakpo's role off the edge.

Rookie offensive guards Josh LeRibeus and Adam Gettis are both inactive this week, leaving Jordan Black and Maurice Hurt as the primary reserve options at offensive line.
