The Washington Redskins announced today that they have signed unrestricted free agent guard/center Mike McGlynn.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

He has appeared in 56 regular season games with 47 starts for the Eagles (2008-10), Cincinnati Bengals (2011) and Indianapolis Colts (2012-13).

In 2013, McGlynn started in 14 regular-season games and two playoff matchups for Indianapolis.

Last season, he contributed to the Colts setting a single-game franchise record of 625 yards of total offense in Week 10 against the Dallas Cowboys.

McGlynn, 29, played collegiately at Pittsburgh from 2004-07, appearing in 47 games with 43 consecutive starts to end his collegiate career. He was a three-time All-Big East honoree and was a third-team All-America selection as a senior.

McGlynn was born on March 8, 1985. He attended Austintown (Ohio) Fitch H.S., where he was a two-way starter in football and earned all-conference honors in baseball.
