Lichtensteiger Active, Starting O-Line Intact

Posted Jan 6, 2013

The Redskins' starting offensive line is intact this week, as LG Kory Lichtensteiger (ankle) is active and expected to start.

Redskins left guard Kory Lichtensteiger has been cleared to play in today's contest and is expected to keep the starting offensive line intact for the Wild Card playoff game.

Lichtensteiger (ankle) was knocked out of last week's game and was replaced by rookie guard Josh LeRibeus, who took all of the snaps with the starting unit this week in practice.

Strong safety DeJon Gomes (knee) will also be active this week, after sitting out last week's game against Dallas.

Veteran cornerback Cedric Griffin was suspended by the NFL for the final four games of the regular season and returns to the lineup tonight.

His exact role remains unclear, as rookie Richard Crawford is also active.

Here is the full list of Redskins' inactives:

On the Seattle Seahawks sideline, only two players were listed on the team's injury report this week, with no starters expected to miss the contest.

Here is the full list of Seahawks' inactives:

  • No. 10 WR Deon Butler
  • No. 27 SS Winston Guy
  • No. 35 CB DeShawn Shead
  • No. 52 LB Allen Bradford
  • No. 63 G Rishaw Johnson
  • No. 75 T Mike Person
  • No. 94 DT Jaye Howard
