Jordan Reed, Darrel Young Inactive Again

Posted Dec 1, 2013

The Washington Redskins and New York Giants announced inactives ahead of Sunday Night's game. Darrel Young, Niles Paul and Jordan Reed will sit.

The Washington Redskins and New York Giants have announced tonight's inactives at the 90-minute mark before the game.

The team got disappointing news as Jordan Reed was still feeling the effects of his concussion suffered two weeks ago and was declared inactive. He will be joined by Darrel Young (hamstring) and Niles Paul (illness) on the bench.

Here is the full list for the Washington Redskins:

No. 22 Evan Royster is expected to start in place of Young at fullback. The team promoted Minnifield to its active roster on Friday.

Here is the full list of the inactives for the New York Giants:

  • No. 9 Quarterback Ryan Nassib
  • No. 23 Cornerback Corey Webster
  • No. 34 Running back Brandon Jacobs
  • No. 38 Cornerback Trumaine McBride
  • No. 79 Offensive lineman Stephen Goodin
  • No. 81 Tight end Adrien Robinson
  • No. 90 Defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul

The team placed No. 63 C Jim Cordle on its Reserve/Injured list and added Goodin earlier in the week.

No. 77 Kevin Boothe is expected to start at center in place of Cordle.

No. 73 James Brewer is expected to start in place of Boothe at left guard.

No. 94 Mathias Kiwanuka is expected to start in place of Pierre-Paul at right defensive end.

No. 28 Jayron Hosley is expected to start in place of McBride at left cornerback.
