Meriweather was injured during offseason activities and reinjured during the preseason contest in Chicago. He was expected to make his Redskins debut in Tampa Bay in Week 4, but a pregame collision with receiver
He is joined in the starting lineup by receiver Pierre Garçon, who has battled a major toe injury since Week 1. Garçon has not been active since Week 5, and is said to be managing pain in an effort to boost the team's receiving corps.
