Ladell Betts is a powerful and versatile back who has contributed in a variety of ways during his six NFL seasons with the Redskins. He has complemented Clinton Portis and the duo has developed into one the most productive pair of running backs in the NFL. Betts appeared in 16 regular-season games and combined for a total of 509 yards from scrimmage in 2007. He signed a five-year contract extension on December 8, 2006.
