Davis served as a backup tight end and special teams player in the 2008 season, hauling in three passes for 27 yards as he adjusted to the NFL game. At USC, he was the recipient of the 2007 Mackey Award as the nation’s top college tight end. His 117 career receptions, 13 touchdowns and 1,408 receiving yards are all Sothern California records for tight ends. In his four years as a Trojan, Southern California posted a 46-5 record and won a NCAA National Championship in 2004.
