Young is a linebacker prospect who is in the mix at linebacker in his rookie season with the Redskins. He was a four-year starter at Villanova and earned All-CAA honors last season when he posted 73 tackles, nine tackles for a loss, two sacks and three passes defended. He has versatilty to play either linebacker or safety.
